CTI Collections & AT & T Wireless

***@netzero.com .....have been getting harrassed by a
collection agency called CTI. They CLAIM to represent
AT & T Wireless - - but I am dubious.

They badger me for the number of my checking account "so that this
120 dollar charge can be cleared up over the phone." The charge is
from FIVE YEARS AGO ! ! !

Do you think I am correct in believing this is a PHISHING scam ?
It seems to me all they wish to do is clean-out my checking account.
I have had a problem before with a so-called 'collection agency'
totally anihilating my checking account. I do not wish to see this
happen again.

So what's your problem? If you want to pay them, ask them for their address
and mail them a check. If you don't want to pay them, hang up.

And with the check, they make electronic debits until your checking account
is overdrawn by several thousand. -Dave
